My Mummy's Palm

MY MUMMY’S PALM
She was an enigma in my innocent mind,
But now a princess in my adult sublime wind.
She made me stand up-front and never behind.
HE made her so hard and yet so very kind.

I pray the love she gave me was never lost.
I lay indoors so rich, turbo charged at no cost.
No amount can pay up her priceless feelings;
For even in death, her memory ignites my wings.

Her palm was my whip, my balm and my spring.
In the coldness of night she circled me in her ring;
Praying I should wake up, warm, and ready to sing.
My legs could barely touch the ground, but then I was her king.

My mummy’s palms had circles; deliberately not made.
When cuddling leaves to be dished, forth comes bleeding red;
With a smiling face and a grin, she used to suck the redline at bay.
Everyday in her time sacrifice was her sway.

I shed bountiful tears; neither of sadness nor regret;
But tears of gratitude to Almighty for a pillar so great.
This I feel evryday, though we are destined: poles apart.
But I know someday, we shall meet, and never to part.

In the kingdom of God memories do stand still.
But I will recall to our Lord how she molded my will into a steel.
And today even though heavenly apart, I stand on glory hill;
Basking in her prayers and due diligence to her age old will.

I smile everyday I replay her heavenly palm;
For when I stumble and fall and set redlines afloat,
She call no ambulance or any emergency boat,
But set out to work to heal my pain through her motherly balm.
Thank you oh mummy;
My life is sunny.

Nigerians are not terrorist!!!

Even the Americans are calling him "suspected" terrorists----OGAS AND MADAMS

Terrorists are born with hatred in their hearts and that hatred grows as they grow older because they see violence around them and there is no way a Nigerian can wake up one day and be a terrorist because we do not live in a country where we see our homes and families being destroyed by Americans, so why will he want to kill Americans? It is not his war to fight he was just an unfortunate victim. I know they are calling it Islamic extremism but it is not. It is just a group of Muslims from different schools of thought that have different beliefs from us.

Fellow Nigerians who are complaining that he is from the North, hmmn I thought we are one whether you are from the North or South, East or West, we should have let the Biafrans get their country then abi?

This is not about a Muslim or Northern Nigerian, its about Nigeria our country. I know everyone is worried about getting U.S and U.K Visas we shouldn’t worry if you are eligible you will get one whether Umar bombs a plane or not.

Its unfortunate that today a Northern Nigerian is guilty of a crime, I never once saw such hatred from Northerners when people from other parts of the country were caught doing much worse. And for people posting horrible stuffs about it don’t they think his family are already heartbroken.

For once guys let us be supportive of one another and pray for our country and fellow citizens. If you are worried about our relationship with America wake up guys we never had one. Violence of any kind has no excuse still we shouldn’t turn to each other.

Don’t worry guys you can still go to Yankee!!!!

Forgiveness

We all get ANGRY and upset at times, especially with all the internet relationship thing becoming the order of the day. We get disappointed and get angry sometimes at people we have never seen in our lives and most probably NEVER will see or touch, or ever hear their voices. Like the unknown people in our lives who we get angry at, we do get angry at the people who are our NEAREST and DEAREST. Imagine what would happen if you stayed ANGRY and SHUT them out of your life forever. Your world would never be the same. I know how it feels like, trying to shut out someone who means the world to you,.. remember they say "never give up on anyone you can't bear to be a day without"??

FORGIVENESS diffuses ANGER. FORGIVENESS strengthens CHARACTER. So, even though there are times when FORGIVENESS seems like the last thing you want to do, DO IT ANYWAY. Even if the pain is hard to forget, REMEMBER: Forgiveness is your ONLY OPTION to and for everlasting WHOLENESS any other option would just be temporal.

FORGIVENESS holds tremendous HEALING POWER and LIBERATES the soul. When you FORGIVE, you let go of ANGER,... RESENTMENT and BLAME, you become a new person, you let the person who has angered you starts wondering whats up with your radiance. I have been there a couple times, I've forgiven each time someone hurts me so bad I think of nothing else but what he or she did or said to me. I FORGAVE and found my inner peace. Don't allow anyone to take control of your life, then its the ONLY thing you solely own. Don't let anyone be the center of your happiness.

INSTALLING A HUSBAND

Dear Tech Support ,

Last year I upgraded from Boyfriend 5.0 to Husband 1.0 and noticed a
distinct slow down in overall system performance, particularly in the
flower and jewelry applications, which operated flawlessly under
Boyfriend 5.0 .

In addition, Husband 1.0 uninstalled many other valuable programs, such
as:
Romance 9.5 and
Personal Attention 6.5,

and then installed undesirable programs such as :

Premier League 5.0
Cricket 3.0
Rugby 2.1 and
Golf Clubs 4..1 ..

Also Conversation 8.0 no longer runs, and Housecleaning 2. 6 simply
crashes the system.

Please note that I have tried running Nagging 5.3 to fix these
problems, but to no avail.

What can I do?

DEAR DESPERATE ,

First, keep in mind,
Boyfriend 5.0 is an Entertainment Package, while Husband 1.0 is an
operating system.

Please enter command: ithoughtyoulovedme.html and try to download Tears
6.2 and do not forget to install the Guilt 3.0 update.
If that application works as designed , Husband 1.0 should then
automatically run the applications Jewelry 2.0 and Flowers 3.5.

However, remember, overuse of the above application can cause Husband
1.0 to default to Grumpy Silence 2.5 , Happy Hour 7.0 or Beer 6.1 ..
Please note that Beer 6. 1 is a very bad program that will download the
Farting and Snoring Loudly Beta.

Whatever you do, DO NOT under any circumstances install Mother-In-Law
1.0 (it runs a virus in the background that will eventually seize
control of all your system resources.)

In addition, please do not attempt to reinstall the Boyfriend 5.0
-program These are unsupported applications and will crash Husband 1.0 .

In summary, Husband 1.0 is a great program, but it does have limited
memory and cannot learn new applications quickly. You might consider
buying additional software to improve memory and performance. We
recommend Cooking 3.0 and Hot Lingerie 7.7.

The 'HELL' of different countries

A man died & goes to hell. There he finds that there is a different hell for each country and decides he'll pick the least painful to spend his eternity.

He goes to the German hell & asks, "What do they do here?" He is told "first they put you in an electric chair for an hour. Then they lay you on a bed of nails for another hour. Then the German devil comes in and whips you for the rest of the day. The man does not like the sound of that at all so he moves on. He checks out the USA hell as well as the Russian hell and many more. He discovers that they are all similar to the German hell.

Then he comes to the Nigerian hell and finds that there is a long queue of people waiting to get in...Amazed, he asks, "What do they do here?" But that is exactly the same as all the other hells, why are there so many people waiting to get in?" asks the man.. A concerned fellow calls him aside and said,
